The Founder and Director of Sankofa Travels is Kofi Annan. Kofi is the Executive Director of Sankofa Travels and a Fora Certified Travel Advisor with a deep commitment to culturally grounded, purpose-driven travel. With decades of leadership experience and a passion for connecting the African diaspora to the continent, he designs intentional travel experiences that educate, inspire, and transform—while reinvesting in youth through the Sankofa Scholars Program.

Proceeds of every trip supports the Sankofa Scholars Program, giving Petersburg, VA students the chance to connect with their peers in Ghana and explore their heritage in a way that’s real and eye-opening.
